Please join us at the Ocean House for the 2023 Black & White Ball: United for the Arts. Come celebrate and support some of our community's most inspiring, historic, and dedicated performing arts organizations. A lavish gathering awaits, with live music, food, open bar, and festive décor. Proceeds from the event will benefit the UNITED Theatre, Chorus of Westerly, and Salt Marsh Opera and support the inspiring performances, cultural presentations, and educational opportunities presented by all three organizations.

General admission tickets can be bought here via the UNITED website ($200). General Admission begins at 8:00pm

Headlining the entertainment will be The Knickerbocker All-Stars featuring vocalist Darcel Wilson in the Ballroom. This headlining band is presented by the UNITED and features swinging jump blues and lively jazz to dance the night away. The Chorus of Westerly will have a number of acts playing throughout the space including their advanced children's ensemble, an 8-voice men's chamber choir, and young soloist Veronica Kushner. Salt Marsh Opera will feature Sarah Callinan (soprano), Eric McKeever (baritone), and Simon Holt (pianist) performing a variety of well-known opera arias and duets as well as some music theater arrangements throughout the event. The United Theatre house band will be performing some lively funk in the lobby to start the night, and a jazz pianist will also be performing in that space in the evening.
